: I’ve wasted I can’t even imagine how many hours reading this over the past 6 years and I really like Jae, so I’ll keep reading, but what is even the point of a flash back? Everyone is already dead and they’re wasting time on fights with characters who don’t matter when they should just cut the crap and give some of the lore they’ve been droning on about expositing; half of this current arc won’t even be in one of the long flashback panels they do for pages of exposition later on. The scaling for this series is insane, imagine early Lookism James Lee meeting current James Lee, it’s so disconnected from its roots. This bloated cast makes everything so uninteresting or confusing; how do One Piece fans manage to remember all their characters?
