: I don't like Leonides for following Titi's plan and not feeling that guilty trying to deceive Vivia even though he knows she's a good person and doesn't deserve what titi is trying to do to her. But after reading the latest chapter and seeing more of his past, I can see that Leonides views Rome as a country that has only takes and takes from him and his mother. I can also see that he's determined and unwavering, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his goal of returning his mother back to her homeland. And I can see how much he truly loves and respects his mother, since he calls her by her maiden name. This is good writing cause showing more of his past with his mother makes you see that he's not just a one dimensional asshole and you can understand his motivations more, even if his intentions are f*cked up. I hope after Vivia saving his life, he starts being hesistant of his goal of deceiving her and sees her as an actual person worth caring for.
