: imo the budding romance between jiwoo and jiyoung is a refreshing one especially in this genre. i'm seeing a lot of comparisons with the romance in solo leveling but in terms of writing, idt SL can even compare. jiwoo and jiyoung's relationship has sm mutual support, respect, and admiration that rlly make up for their lack of immediate chemistry which a lot of authors aim for in their writing.
i love that instead of the excessive pining typical to this genre (which is usually one-sided and the ML is almost always on the receiving end), neither jiwoo or jiyoung bend their personalities for each other. they acknowledge that they are both very strong in their own rights and so they don't go over each other's boundaries. idk how to explain it very well but TLDR: i'm looking forward to their romance! HAHSHAHSSH
