I am a huge fan of works by this author but I remembered when this came out and I believe this was there first one andddddd you can really tell.

The pacing, the age gap, stepbrothers and the overall drawn out weird plot shows how early on this was for them especially when you compare it to Taming the Tiger, tale of the yellow dragon, blood link or any of their other works.

I love love love tgat they ended up together but that ending was not it, it feels rushed.

Love brothers with out a tomorrow, but deammm this one just wasn't it. They are related which I don't love. They have a relatively huge age gap. I mean I don't hate it but they act there age. The white hair dude is giving grandpa and the other one is not only acting like a child but .....a women. Yea no thank you. To chap 60 I was somewhat enjoying myself and then it just went down hill.

Their stepbrothers? And I can’t shake the feeling but the white hair guy looks like an old man sometimes, I can’t get into this, I stopped at chapter 5. Is this really good? It feels like I’m reading a one sided story and I cannot get into it. Or rather bc I feel high right now

Think abt it y'all he grew up on a remote island, no internet or phone, only watched maybe the news and korean dramas, barely friends his age....and to top it all off EVERYONE babys him. They hide the truth from him so he doesn't cry like he's a fucking toddler, Soo hides him and shelters him away, everyone is trying to protect him like he cant stand on his own. When everyone is constantly treating you like a baby on top of being naive and ignorant due to being so sheltered and barely 20. I would probably act and seem like a child to my THIRTY PLUS year old lover. I really empathize with Merry.
